We began our morning with a fun math activity that required students to measure different objects in the room, using different units of measurement. We discussed what would be logical. Would it make sense to measure the classroom with a ruler or a meter stick? Next we continued on with our superhero stories! Students have made excellent progress and have been working hard to give each other meaningful and useful feedback. We also looked at a sample of student work about a Haunted House to see what grips the reader. What did the student do well? What left us asking questions? We continued to look at equivalent decimals and how decimals relate to fractions, as well as how to follow the process for adding decimals. Below you will find a sample of the questions that we looked at today. We continue to do an amazing job as a school in our efforts to raise money for a well in Africa. If you are able to contribute to this great cause tomorrow is your last day to make a donation before the Grade 3's count all the money and pass it along to the organization "Wheels for Wells".
